Who pays, the team or the parents and athletes?
Usually the team: its billing contact pays once a year and assigns its athletes profiles. A parent or athlete whose team doesn't use Prospect Nine can buy a profile for $39 a year and bring it to a team later. There's no separate charge for the organization: it comes with your teams.
How does starting work?
Choose how many teams you need and check out. Then name your organization and create your teams. Each team's year starts the day you create it, so create them when you're ready, within 12 months.
Can our organization pay by invoice?
Yes, for team years. On the team's Billing page, choose Pay by invoice: we email an invoice your treasurer can pay online, by card or bank transfer, within 30 days. The team year starts when it's paid.
What happens at the end of the team year?
The billing contact gets reminders 30 and 7 days before. Renewing keeps every athlete still on the roster going, with the same links and QR codes.
Do printed QR codes ever stop working?
No. A code always opens the athlete's profile page as it is today, and if the team changes its name or address, the old one keeps forwarding. If a profile needs renewal, its page shows “This page isn't available right now” until it's renewed.
What if an athlete changes teams?
The profile belongs to the athlete. It keeps its link and QR code and joins the new team with the team's join code. When the old team paid for the profile, its profile admins can renew it themselves, for $39 a year.
Do we still need GameChanger?
Yes, keep it. GameChanger keeps your scores, stats and game video. Prospect Nine is what college coaches see at the fence: the sheet, each athlete's page and this weekend's games. A Featured video can come from YouTube, Vimeo or Hudl; a GameChanger clip shows as a Watch button.
Do college coaches need an app or an account?
Neither. Any phone camera opens a card, and it's always free for them.
How are athletes' privacy and safety handled?
There's no messaging. Phone numbers and email addresses stay hidden unless a parent or athlete turns them on, and never appear on a graphic. Organizations and teams choose which details show, parents and athletes can hide more or hide the whole page, and every page has a Report link.
Can we get a refund?
Teams and profiles are paid for before they're created, and they aren't refundable, which is why we're glad to walk you through a demo first.
