What Prospect Nine is
Prospect Nine lets teams print sheets of athlete cards with QR codes and keep a profile page for each athlete. Teams, their admins and the athletes' profile admins decide what goes on those pages.
What we collect
- Accounts: the email address of each team admin, organization admin and profile admin, so they can sign in with an emailed code. Profile admins can sign up on their own, with or without a team.
- Athletes and profiles: a profile admin's account holds the athletes they manage and each athlete's profiles: one page per team, or an independent profile. Each profile needs a contact email and a 10-digit phone number. These are hidden on the page unless someone turns them on.
- Team information: what a team's admins enter, such as the team name, logo, colors, coaches' contact details and links.
- Athlete information: what a team admin or the athlete's profile admin enters, such as name, photo, position and the details they choose to show. Each detail has its own show or hide switch, and a profile admin can hide or delete the athlete's profile page at any time.
- Payments: when a team or profile admin pays, Stripe takes the card on its own checkout page. Prospect Nine never sees or stores card numbers; we keep a record of what was paid for and when.
- Reports: anyone can report a profile page. We keep the report, the reason and (if given) the reporter's email, so we can look into it.
- Visit counts: when a team or profile page is opened, we count it as a QR scan or a direct visit. We don't store names or IP addresses for this; a scrambled daily code lets us estimate how many different people visited.
What's public
Published team and profile pages can be opened by anyone with the link or QR code. Only the details a team and the profile admins choose to show appear there. A new profile a profile admin sets up without a team starts hidden, with phone, email and hometown hidden too, until its profile admin turns those on. Search engines only list team pages, and the profiles on them, if the team turns that on; independent profiles are never listed.
Who we share it with
We don't sell personal information. We use service providers to run the site: Vercel (hosting and photo storage), Neon (database), Resend (email) and Stripe (payments).
Your choices
- Profile admins can edit or hide their athletes' profiles from My athletes, and delete an independent profile.
- Team admins can mark athletes inactive or remove them from the team. A removed athlete's profile stays with the athlete's profile admins until it ends; the team chooses whether the athlete is still listed as a past athlete.
- To have an account removed, or with any question about your information, email support@prospectnine.com.
Children
Most athletes are minors. Profiles are created and managed by team admins and by profile admins (a parent or legal guardian, someone with a parent's or guardian's permission, or an athlete 18 or older), who agree to these terms and this policy when they accept a team's profile or sign up. Athletes under 18 don't sign up or manage profiles themselves. Every profile page has a “Report this page” link, and Prospect Nine can take a page down while a report is looked into.
